About Hot Nasho
Hot Nasho is the solo project of Spanish musician and composer Jose Ignacio Mena. With more than two decades of musical experience, he has developed a personal approach to American roots music, drawing especially from the Delta and Hill Country Blues traditions.
Since 2011, he has also explored the one-man band format, a facet of his work mentioned in the book Todo Blues. His performances range from solo acoustic guitar and vocals to a more rhythm-driven one-man band approach.
Alongside his live work, he writes and produces music for film, television and advertising, working with music publishers on projects for sync licensing.
